TIPS
FOR WORKING AS A RESEARCH ASSISTANT WITH THE
BUSSELTON HEALTH STUDY
Successful
applicants play a key role in collecting and
processing biological specimens, performing varied medical and physical
assessments, and administering questionnaires for medical research
purposes. The
positions suit
applicants with nursing or science-related qualifications and
preferably have
experience with a range of tests including phlebotomy. Full training is
provided. Successful applicants are multi-skilled team players who pay
attention to
detail and have excellent interpersonal skills in order to interact
effectively
and compassionately with study participants.
